![]() New day will bring new people if you learn to let our guard down That’s a great way of helping ourselves to heal our bruises. We have to bring them down to the ground to welcome new people into our lives. She is thankful God and praying him for making this happened. She feels like this is something new that she's never had before.Ĭause this guy embraces her and gives her so much piece and comfort It even happens so naturally that she couldn't even hide her feelings.įinally, she had the courage to step out of her comfort zoneĪnd take the risk to let him into her life.Ĭause she knows that he is worth of taking the risk. She finds it hard to stay behind those walls. Some time later a guy comes into her life. In order to avoid the risk of getting hurt again, she built walls around her. ![]() My OpinionI think the song is about a girl who’s been hurt by someone that she once cared. 2 Corinthians 11:14)īut this dont even feel like falling(hmmm).fallen Angels are Evil Think im addicted to your light(And no marvel for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Hit me like a ray of sun(Horus/Baal the sun god) Its the risk(selling her soul) that im takin Its like Ive been awakened(when you sell your soul to Satan)Įvery rule I had you breakin(Satan is the Lawless one) Wake up Sheoples.Remember those walls I built I know that I will always want more if we have that so she has to make up her mind what she It is about Satan, the Fallen Angel of Light. She gave up on me, and while I will give her a second chance if she wants it, I won't even think about her otherwise for the very reason that I know what I want and if she just wants to be friends, well then that isn't going to work for me. That was some weeks ago now, and these days I am of a different opinion. I thought I was recently and got both spirit and heart utterly crushed to the point that I had to seek help. However I will say that this song does represent what I hope to be to someone someday. ![]() I prefer metal and that genre and more upbeat songs. I generally don't listen to beyonce at all as she has to much "girly" (in the lack of a better word) music for my taste. It's in no way a reference to a golden ring hovering above anyone's head, its a reference to the nature of a person or to describe it in a different way, about the type of energy a person has. Personally being a reformed atheist I would hate it being about "god" or anything religious, but the reference about halo as she describes it here isn't a halo in the way religious people think. So with that understanding, I think the rest is self explanatory. However, this person came to some point in his/her life and they are convince that this special "someone" is indeed the real thing! And the "halo" revelation is that she finally sees that he's a good man! Thus, in the first verse, all her guard is let down without a fight, she trust him. It's a foolish way to be secure, but that's what it meant. Perhaps Beyonce's character pushed this guy over the edge to see if he would still be committed? Sometimes that's risky - because you don't know if they'll stay committed, but she tested him because she simply had to know for sure. You know how sometimes people do that "game" to test others to see if they're really sincere. This person even tries to "test" this person to see if they are for real. She/he doesn't trust her relationships, so when this person meets this "someone" - she/he is very "cautious" at first. ![]() This is a girl (or guy) who has been hurt enough to build walls around him/her. It's not about God - although I would've loved it to be about Him - and if it relates to you in that way, then take it as such. General CommentThis song is very easy to interpret:
